The LED control buttons, push button ignition, and variable flame control knob are concealed under a tilt-up cover to protect them from the outside elements. The fireplace is further protected by its durable stainless steel construction and glass wind deflector that protects the flame from wind. This unit requires 20 pounds of clear or translucent fire glass to properly fill the burner pan.
